MODULIX? is a fastener-less embedded rail system belonging to the range of CDM solutions, based upon a particular design of rail “jacket”, called CDM-JACKET, where the rail is completely enveloped thus ensuring fastening in all directions and complete decoupling from the environment (electrical and vibration protection). CDM COMPACT, CLASSIC or COMFORT jackets may be introduced.

Modules with integrated traffic signalisation

The -MODULIX? system consists of prefabricated reinforced concrete modules containing already a maximum of elements (rails, slab, traffic separation, platform edge, road paving/covering, eventual transition stiffness elements, ...).

The system has been designed to cross vital points in an urban environment (crossings in heavy traffic, access to strategic locations etc…) in a minimum of time.

Within the MODULIX? concept, the technology exist, if necessary, to provide a transition stiffness array between the embedded rail of the MODULIX ? slab and adjacent ballasted track.
